Hello and welcome to my blog! I got my foundation license in September 2024, followed by my intermediate – and now since December 2025 my full UK license. I initially thought that ham radio would just be an interesting hobby, but it quickly turned into a passion. I started this blog to document the various experiences, mistakes and adventures that I have along the way.

I enjoy being outdoors and am interested in SOTA, POTA and ARDF. After upgrading to a massive hiking rucksack, my Yaesu FT-818nd now keeps me company on my hikes.
